Selection Process: Written Test (Two Hours Objective Type) and Skill Test.

About Written Test: The Written Test is scheduled to be held at 6 Cities i.e. Raipur, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Bhopal, Indore & Jabalpur on 22/01/2017 (Sunday). The test can be taken in Hindi or English. Candidates will have to give their choice for appearing in Hindi or English. The test will be in two parts. Part-I will be Knowledge Test and will consist of 70 multiple-choice questions in respective disciplines as advertised. Part-II will be Aptitude Test and will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions on General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong / multiple answered question.

Qualification and Experience:

Finance ->

(1) CA or ICWA.
(2) Experience – Post qualification executive experience in the area of Accounts/ Finance/ Internal Audit preferably in a large organization/ organization of repute.

Safety ->

(1) Graduate Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution with full time Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute/Institution recognized under the Factories Act/Rules or Degree in Engineering in Industrial Safety with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institution. Post qualification experience shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired the Degree in Engineering.
(2) Experience – Working experience in compliance with safety regulations under the Factories Act. Developing, auditing and improving safety systems. Promotion of safety consciousness amongst employees and examination of machinery, equipment and building from the safety angle. Experience in organizing safety training and fire fighting would be an added advantage.

SAP-ABAP/ BASIS/ DC Operation ->

(1) Graduate Engineering Degree in Computer Science with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. Holder of valid SAP Professional Certificate in BASIS/ABAP from SAP Authorized Training Centre is required. Post qualification experience shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired the Degree in Computer Science Engineering.
(2) Experience – Working experience in the field of IT/ABAP/BASIS.

Mines Survey ->

(1) Diploma in Civil/ Mining/ Mines Survey. Holder of valid mine surveyor certificate of Competency or equivalent under CMR 1957. Knowledge of computer, Auto CAD, LDDT (Land Development Desktop), 3D Modeling etc. are desirable.
(2) Experience – Working experience in the field of mine surveying, fully conversant with modern equipment’s like Total Station Instrument, EDS, Digital Theodolite, Auto Set Level, Dumpy Level etc. for accurate survey and leveling. Working experience in preparation and maintenance of mine plans, sections, tracing and statutory requirements under CMR 1957 and submission of statutory reports as required under CMR 1957 etc. Experience in large mechanized open cast coal mine is desirable.

Medical (GDMO) ->

(1) MBBS from recognized University/ Institution. The Qualification should be recognized by Medical Council of India.
(2) Experience – For E2 level: Minimum 2 years experience/ practice after MBBS (Internship training shall not be counted as experience).

Medical Specialist (Medicine/Radiology)

(1) MBBS with MD/MS in Medicine/Radiology. E2 [only for Radiology] – MBBS with PG Diploma in Radiology. [Qualification should be recognized by Medical Council of India]
(2) Experience – For E3 level: Minimum 1  year experience/practice after MD/MS. For E2 level: Fresh MD/MS qualified doctor. For E2 level [Radiology]: Minimum 2years experience/practice after PG Diploma.

Selection Process: The Selection will be on the basis of online Written Test followed by Interview except for GDMO/Specialist. In case the number of applications is more for the post of GDMO/Specialist, the above selection process shall prevail. The final selection shall be on the basis of 85% weightage of online written test marks and 15% weightage of interview marks. However, candidate has to qualify separately in written test and interview.

Application Fee: Candidate belonging to General/OBC category is required to pay a nonrefundable registration fee of ₹ 300/-. The SC/ ST/ PWD category candidate need not pay the registration fee. The State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC. Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” which is available on the application registration portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online registration.
